Densification and Deformation Behavior of Sintered P/M Zinc-Zinc Oxide Composite during Cold Upsetting
Studies were carried out to evaluate the initially preformed density and initial aspect ratio on the densification behavior of sintered Zinc and Zinc Oxide composite. The preform possessed 0.85 is the initial density. Aspect ratio for three different oxidizing temperatures (at 150°C, 200°C and 250°C) varied from 0.4 to 0.85. Properties of Zinc-Zinc Oxide composites with respect to linear strain...
متن کاملInvestigation of zinc oxide additive on the dielectric properties and microstructure of titanium oxide ceramic
In recent years, research into materials with high dielectric constants, including doped titanium oxide, has increased because of the potential for modern microelectronics applications and high-density energy storage. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of zinc oxide as an acceptor additive on the dielectric properties and microstructure of titanium oxide ceramics. The amount o...
متن کاملFlexible and conductive MXene films and nanocomposites with high capacitance.
MXenes, a new family of 2D materials, combine hydrophilic surfaces with metallic conductivity. Delamination of MXene produces single-layer nanosheets with thickness of about a nanometer and lateral size of the order of micrometers. The high aspect ratio of delaminated MXene renders it promising nanofiller in multifunctional polymer nanocomposites. Herein, Ti3C2T(x) MXene was mixed with either a...
متن کاملSintered hydroxyapatite ceramic for wear studies.
A sintered hydroxyapatite (HAP) ceramic for use in wear studies was prepared from a commercial tricalcium phosphate. The sintered HAP had physical properties close to those of human enamel. The coefficient of friction and wear of the sintered HAP ceramic as characterized by tangential force, track width, and surface failure data, approximated those of human enamel.
متن کاملStructural and Electrical Characterization of Sintered Silicon Nitride Ceramic
The electrical conduction phenomena, dielectric response and microstructure have been discussed in sintered silicon nitride ceramics at different temperature and frequencies. Microstructure and phase of the sintered samples was investigated by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The electrical conductivity, dielectric constant and dielectric loss increases exponen...
